A new home for Big Dog Living — and a new chapter for our growing local brand.
On October 18, 2026, BUCKOLLAR officially opened the doors to our new store and showroom at 133 Great Road in Acton, Massachusetts, celebrating alongside the community during the Great Road Stroll.
We were honored to welcome representatives from the Town of Acton, who joined us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and helped mark this important milestone for our business. We are grateful for the warm welcome we have received from the town, our neighbors, friends, customers, and everyone who stopped by to celebrate with us.
BUCKOLLAR began with a simple idea: everyday life with large dogs deserves products designed with their size, strength, comfort, and routines in mind.
Much of that inspiration comes from our own two Dobermans, Buck and Dollar. From daily walks and after-walk cleanup to comfortable places to rest at home, they continue to shape the way we think about the products we create and select.
Our Acton location is more than a traditional retail store. It is also a showroom and home base for the BUCKOLLAR brand, where customers can see and experience our growing collection in person — including walking gear, after-walk care, waterproof blankets, dog beds, home comfort products, personalized gifts, and other essentials designed around everyday life with dogs.
That idea is at the heart of our brand:
BIG DOG LIVING
Built for large dogs. Designed for everyday life.
Opening in Acton also gives us the opportunity to become a more active part of the community around us. We believe building a business should go hand in hand with contributing to the place we call home. As part of that commitment, BUCKOLLAR is proud to support the Acton Community Dog Park Pavilion Project and looks forward to finding more ways to support local dogs, families, and community initiatives as we grow.
Our opening day was filled with small moments that made the occasion special — families stopping in, children drawing and enjoying face painting, neighbors discovering the store for the first time, and plenty of conversations about dogs.
For us, this opening is only the beginning.
We look forward to growing BUCKOLLAR here in Acton while continuing to build products and experiences around the simple idea that dogs — especially big dogs — are part of the way we live.
